IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Vendors

You are welcome to select the vendors that service your event. We do require that the caterer is selected from our Preferred Vendor List, and that the bartenders are insured and licensed in the state of WI. All other vendors ARE NOT required to be chosen from the list. 

 

We understand that you are investing a lot of time, money and energy in planning your event, so it is very important to us that the caterer selected is trusted to deliver great service from the planning stages to the food quality, presentation, execution and clean up.

 

Our ten caterers know the ins and outs of our facility, are consistent, understand our policies and are trusted to take excellent care of our customers.  This list offers a wide range of affordable options for every taste and budget. A number of the caterers offer an optional bar package with their services, making it even easier to plan your day with a single contact for food and beverage.

 

You can also opt to use a separate beverage service/bartending company, in which case, we highly recommend sticking to our list. It is required that the       company used is insured with licensed bartenders and understands the rules and procedures of the Riviera  Ballroom.

Capacities & Floor Plans 

Our clients design their own floor plans with the assistance of our Director of Events when needed.

​

  • The ballroom can accommodate 320 using banquet rounds of ten with no buffet in the room.

  • If you'd like a dance floor, 280 would be the maximum number of guests using rounds of 10.

  • Reception-style, the maximum number of guests is 380.

​

(32) 60" Banquet Rounds (Standard is 8 people per table, Maximum of 10)

(30) 8' Banquet Table

(1) 48" Round

 

Please refer to the Corporate Event Packages for all meeting set-up capacities.

 

  

Event Detail Form

We ask all of our clients to fill out the above detail form at least two weeks prior to the event date.

Please be sure to fill out each section including the list of Vendors and day-of contact person for each company. 

​

Please do not hesitate to ask our Director of Events for assistance when completing your floor plan.

​

Wedding Lease Agreement

A signed wedding lease $1,000 security deposit and half of the rental fee is required in order to confirm your event reservation on a definite basis. When ready to move forward, a lease specific to your wedding date will be emailed to you for you to fill out and return. 

​

Signed lease agreements can be mailed to the City of Lake Geneva along with your security deposit of $1,000 and a deposit of half of your rental fee. Six months prior to your event date the remainder of your rental fee is due.

  • Please make the check payable to the "City of Lake Geneva" and mail it to the following address:

You can also choose to pay online with a credit card through GovPay and then scan & email your lease back to our Director of Events.

Event Procedures & Usage Rules

By signing the lease agreement, you are also agreeing to The Riviera's Event Procedures and Usage Rules. This document will be sent along with the lease agreement to confirm your reservation.

Resident Requirements & Request Form

To qualify for the Resident Rate, the Lessee must be a full-time resident residing within the limits of the City of Lake Geneva. (Please note, Geneva Township is not within City Limits. Please check with our Director of Events to confirm that your address is within the City of Lake Geneva.)

​

The event must be for the Lessee, or for an immediate family member (Parent or Child) of the resident Lessee. A Sibling or Grandparent resident unfortunately does not qualify.

​

Please review the form above for more detailed requirement information and to fill out the request form. 

​

Completed forms should be sent to the Director of Events along with a copy of a valid driver's license and utility bill prior to completing your Lease Agreement.
